You will need to select the grade that your student will be ​entering during the next school year, 2023-2024:​​

For example, if your child is currently in 2nd grade, you will choose from the Grade 3-4 course options.​

  • Note: LEAP is now open to new TKers and students new to the district.  
  • Note: This year’s 6th graders select from their home middle school course options.

TK-KEarly literacy and SEL skills / Alfabetizacion y Habilidades de SELLiteracy/Creative Writing, SEL, and more
In this course, your child will learn early literacy skills through sensory play along with SEL activities. SEL activities will provide students with social and emotional skills that will prepare them for a school setting.


En este curso tu hijo aprendera habilidades de alfabetizacion precoz por medio de juegos sensoriales junto con actividades de SEL.  Actividades de SEL proporcionaran a los alumnos con habilidades sociales y emocionales que los prepararan para un entorno escolar.
1st-2nd(Bilingual) All About Me & SEL / Todo Sobre Mí y El Aprendizaje Socioemocional (SEL)Visual Arts, SEL, and more
All About Me will focus on social-emotional learning (SEL). Students will learn about themselves, their emotions, responsibilities, friendships, and so much more! We will learn this through books and art projects every day! This course is bilingual so students will have books in both English and Spanish. We will learn about ourselves while setting goals and letting creativity flow. I can't wait to see you all and can't wait to show off our amazing work!

Todo Sobre Mí se centrará en el aprendizaje socioemocional (SEL). Los alumnos aprenderán sobre sí mismos, las emociones, la responsabilidades, las amistades y mucho más. ¡Aprenderemos esto mediante libros y proyectos de arte todos los días! Este curso es bilingüe por lo que los alumnos tendrán libros tanto en inglés como en español. Aprenderemos sobre nosotros mismos mientras establecemos metas y dejamos fluir la creatividad. ¡Estoy emocionada de verlos a todos y de mostrarles nuestro asombroso trabajo!

The goal is to reconnect with reading.  Students will answer relevant questions about the literature and work on writing. They will also review basic math skills, do art activities, sing songs, engage in hands-on science experiments, and participate in PE.

El objetivo es volver a conectarse con la lectura.  Los alumnos responderán a preguntas relevantes sobre la literatura y trabajarán en la escritura. También repasarán las destrezas básicas de matemáticas, realizarán actividades de arte, cantarán canciones, realizarán experimentos prácticos de ciencias y participarán en educación física.

Our students will embark on a journey of fun summer activities. We will read various books to support social and emotional well-being. The students will enjoy reading Reader's Theater stories. Students will engage in various Art Projects and PE activities. 

Nuestros alumnos van a embarcarse en un viaje de divertidas actividades de verano. Leeremos varios libros para apoyar el bienestar socioemocional. Los alumnos disfrutarán de la lectura con historias de Reader's Theater. Los alumnos participarán en varios proyectos de arte y actividades de educación física.
3rd-4thLEAP into Reading and Yoga / La Lectura y el YogaLiteracy/Creative Writing, SEL, and more
Learn and move your body as we splash into summer! We will expand our reading skills and review some math skills in multiplication and division. We will also focus on Social Emotional Learning. We will do art projects and learn body and mind relaxation techniques using stretching and children's yoga. Come join us as we LEAP into summer and learn to self-manage our emotions to feel calmer, happier, and more peaceful inside!

Aprende y mantente activo mientras le damos la bienvenida al verano. Vamos a desarrollar nuestras habilidades de lectura y repasar algunas destrezas matemáticas de multiplicación y división. También nos centraremos en el aprendizaje socioemocional. Realizaremos proyectos artísticos y aprenderemos técnicas de relajación física y mental a travez de los estiramientos y el yoga. Acompañanos este verano y aprenderemos a manejar nuestras emociones para sentirnos más tranquilos, felices y en paz en nuestro interior.

Our class will engage in a ray of fun educational activities. We will read various social-emotional learning books that help students develop responsible decision-making. Students will enjoy participating in Reader's Theater, Math Project Based Learning, P.E. Activities, and an assortment of Art Projects.

Nuestra clase participará en una serie de actividades educativas divertidas. Leeremos varios libros de aprendizaje socioemocional que ayudan a los alumnos a desarrollar una capacidad responsable para tomar decisiones. Los alumnos disfrutarán participando en el Reader's Theater, Math Project Based Learning, actividades de educación física, y una variedad de proyectos de arte.
5th-6thDetermined to Learn / Decididos a AprenderSTEM, SEL, and more
Come join us for a "Summer of Fun."  We'll spend our days exploring Decision-Making Skills, reading novels, investigating Scientific and Mathematical topics with STEAM-based activities and so much more. 

Acompáñanos a un "Verano de Diversión".  Dedicaremos nuestros días a explorar las habilidades para tomar decisiones, vamos a leer libros, investigar temas científicos y matemáticos con actividades basadas en STEAM y mucho más.
5th-6thJoin the Cast! / Unete al Elenco!Performance Arts, SEL, and more
Join the class for some creative, interactive, dramatic fun. Students will improve their public speaking and social skills, all while having a great time. He/she will learn the fundamentals of theater. Students will memorize lines and put on a play for an audience.  Even if you've never performed before, here's your chance!  It's your time to shine! Your audience eagerly awaits.

Unete a la clase para una diversion creativa, interactiva y dramatica.  Los alumnos mejoraran sus habilidades sociales y para hablar en publico, todo mientras pasando un buen tiempo.  El/ella se aprenderan lof fundamentos del teatro.  Los alumnos memoriaran lineas y pondran una obra de teatro para una audiencia.  Aunque nunca hayas actuado antes, aqui esta tu oportunidad!  Es tu tiempo para brillar!  Tu audiencia te espera ansiosamente.
