Bus Passes

Applications for 2026-2027 bus passes open July 1

All eligible students riding the bus must have a district-issued bus pass prior to using Jurupa USD transportation services. Parents must complete a bus pass application each year in ParentConnection. Students will be required to scan their bus pass upon entering and exiting the bus. In the event of an emergency, dispatch will access the scanned information in order to provide information to parents of students who are shown to be on the bus. For this reason, it is important that your child have their bus pass with them each day, scan the pass when they enter and exit the bus, and never share their pass with another student.

Each eligible student will receive one initial bus pass free of charge. Lost, stolen, damaged, or unscannable bus passes must be replaced as soon as possible. A $10.00 replacement fee applies to replacement bus passes. JUSD is not responsible for any lost, stolen, unscannable, or damaged bus passes.

Home-to-School Transportation Eligibility

Transportation eligibility is based on the student’s home address.

  • Grades TK–6: Students residing beyond a 2-mile distance from school.
  • Grades 7–8: Safety Exception Bus Stops Only.
  • Grades 9–12: Safety Exception Bus Stops Only.
Please note:
  • Students with transportation services included in an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) should follow their individualized transportation plan.
