The Department of Communications and Leadership Development supports learning without limits by routinely sharing information with students, families, educators, and the community. Our department uses a range of communication channels – including social media, the district website, and The Horizon e-newsletter – to keep stakeholders up-to-date on district news and events; peek inside classrooms and tell inspiring stories; and celebrate hard work and achievements districtwide.
Our department also provides a range of leadership development support for Jurupa educators. Through the JUSD Leadership Academy, Golden Bell Awards, and many other opportunities, we develop leaders within Jurupa Unified, sparking professional growth, student achievement, and a culture of continuous learning.
