You will need to select the grade that your student will be ​entering during the next school year, 2023-2024:​​

For example, if your child is currently in 2nd grade, you will choose from the Grade 3-4 course options.​

  • Note: LEAP is now open to new TKers and students new to the district.  
  • Note: This year’s 6th graders select from their home middle school course options.

TK-KAnimals at the Zoo! / Animales en el Zoologico!Literacy/Creative Writing, SEL, and more
Join me on an exciting journey as we explore animals that live in the zoo. We will read books, sing songs, play games, and enjoy hands-on interactive lessons about zoo animals. We will also engage in directed art lessons that help students showcase their individual creativity.

Acompañame en un emocionante viaje mientras exploramos los animales que viven en el zoologico.  Leeremos libros, cataremos canciones, jugaremos juegos y disfrutaremos de lecciones interactivas sobre animales del zoologico.  Tambien participaremos en lecciones de arte directivas que ayudan a los alumnos mostrar su creatividad individual.

The love of family and friends is the glue that holds your heart together. Join us for an interactive look at special relationships with special people that make life extra exciting. We will dive into great books about relationships with family and friends. We will share our favorite memories and capture our favorite stories through reading, writing, and art. We will explore kid-friendly books and crafts that focus on the beautiful bonds between family and friends.

El amor de la familia y amgos es el pegamento que matiene unido tu corazon.  Unete a nosotros para dar un vistazo interactivo a las relaciones especiales con personas especiales con gente especial que hacen que la vida sea mas emocionante.  Nos sumergiremos en gran libros acerca de relaciones con familia y amigos.  Compartiremos nuestras memoria favoritas y caputuraremos nuestras historia favoritas mediante lectura, escritura y arte.  Exploraremos libros y manualidades para niños y manualidades que se enfocan en los hermoso lazos entre la familia y los amigos.
1st-2ndIt's a Bug's Life / Es una Vida de Bichos!STEM, SEL, and more
It's a bug's life!  Join us for outdoor excitement as we explore all that nature has to offer, with a fun look at insects and environments in which animals survive and thrive!  This is a hands-on, interactive science/cross-curricular class in which students will study all of the wonders of nature with books, videos, scavenger hunts, and more!  Students will learn to love the beauty and mystery of all things outside.  Students will have fun making special edible treats, too!

Es una vida de bichos! Unete a nosotros para la emocion al aire libre mientras exploramos todo lo que ofrece la naturaleza, con la diversion de ver insectos y entornos en los que animales sobreviven y prosperan!  Esta es un clase practica, interactiva de ciencia/transversal en donde los alumnos estudiaran todos las maravillas de la naturaleza con libros, video, busquedas del tesoro y mas!  Los alumnos aprenderan a amar la belleza y el misterio de todas las cosas del exterior.  Los estudiante se divertiran haciendo  golosina comestibles especiales, tambien!

Come, and take a deep dive into learning. Join us for an under-the-sea adventure where we will explore the ocean environment and all its incredible creatures. In this interactive leap session, students will investigate the ocean and the beauty of beach life. With science, art, literature, writing, STEM, and more, students will learn all about the OCEAN!

Ven, y sumerjete en el aprendizaje.  Unete a nosotros para una aventura bajo el mar donde exploraremos el ambiente oceano y todos sus increibles animales marinos.  En esta interactiva sesion de LEAP los alumnos investigaran el oceano y la belleza de la vida de la playa.  Con ciencia, arte, literatura, escritura, STEM, y mas, los alumnos aprenderan todo acerca del MAR!
3rd-4thHatchet Novel Study (STEM) / Estudio de la Novela de Hatchet (STEM)STEM, SEL, and more
Students will participate in an engaging STEM Novel Study (Hatchet by Gary Paulsen) paired with an Into the Wilderness PBL Project. This novel study/project integrates elements of science, engineering (STEM Challenges), ELA, and social studies and combines imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills as they come up with ways to survive in the wilderness.

Los alumnos participaran en un interesante Estudio de Novela STEM (Hatchet por Gary Paulsen) junto con un proyecto de En el Desierto PBL.  Esta novela estudio/proyecto se integra con elementos de ciencia, ingenieria (Retos de STEM), ELA, y estudios sociales y combina la imaginacion, creatividad, y habilidades para resolver problemas que pueden enfrentar con formas de sobrevivir en el desierto.

Throughout the four weeks, we will be reading a grade-level appropriate chapter book. We will incorporate reading, writing, math, STEM, and SEL.

Durante las cuatro semanas, estaremos leyendo un libro de capitulos adecuado al nivel escolar.  Incorporaremos lectura, escritura, matematicas, STEM, y SEL.
5th-6thMy Dream House / Mi Casa de EnsueñoVisual Arts, SEL, and more
Design your dream house, a space just for you! Create floor plans and decorate your house however you would like! Once designed, sketch your house and use art supplies to create pictures of your house! Build a birdhouse to take home! Use building blocks to build model houses. Learn some important everyday survival skills to become a more responsible person.

Diseña tu casa de ensueño, un espacio solo para ti!  Crea planos y decora tu casa como quieras!  Ya diseñada, dibuja tu casa y usa utinsilios de arte para crear imagenes de tu casa!  Construye una casa de pajaros para llevar a casa!  Usa bloques de construccion para construir casas modelos.  Aprende algunas habilidades importantes de supervivencia todos los dias para convertirte en una personal responsable.

CSI - Crime Scene Investigation: SDU (Student Detectives Unit)
A terrible crime has been committed, and we need YOU on the SDU Squad!

Join the Student Detectives Unit and search for CLUES, use FORENSICS, and conduct CRIME-LAB tests to solve a MURDER MYSTERY. A dangerous criminal is at large and we must analyze our results to try to solve this mystery!

Your team of Super-Sleuths will run fingerprints, DNA, fiber, and other EXPERIMENTS to analyze the evidence and nab the likely suspect.

CSI - Investigacion de la Escena de Crimen:  SDU (Unidad de Detectives de Alumnos)  Un terrible crimen ha sido cometido, y te necesitamos a TI el el Escuadron SDU.                Unete a la Unidad de Detectives de Alumnos y busa PISTAS, usa Forense y conduce una prueba de LABORATORIO CRIMINAL para resolver un MISTERIO de ASESINATO.  Un criminal esta en libertad y debemos analizar nuestros resultados para tratar de resolver este misterio!                                                                                                                                   Tu equipo de super detectives ejecutara las huellas dactilares, DNA, fibra y otros EXPERIMENTOS para analizar la evidencia y atrapar el sospechoso.
