UCP is the process used to address certain complaints alleging violations of state or federal law or regulations governing educational programs, including discrimination/harassment/bullying/retaliation in many contexts.
Complaints may be submitted using the methods below.
Filing timeline (typical): A UCP complaint shall be filed no later than one year from the date the alleged violation occurred. Click here for more information
The District will review the complaint, investigate as appropriate, and issue a written decision with any applicable appeal rights.
If applicable, a complainant may appeal the District’s decision to CDE within required timelines.
