City of Jurupa Valley Annual Tree Lighting
Students from a variety of schools in JUSD helped to make the City of Jurupa Valley’s Annual Tree Lighting/Open House on November 30th a great success. Terri Rollins, assistant to the City Manager said, “It was a magical evening."
The event included vocal performances by the PHS Madrigals, RHS Chambers, and JVHS Chambers; and instrumental performances by the PHS Marching Band and JVHS Band Ensemble. The community was able to participate in the evening’s festivities, which included pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, delicious cookies from JUSD's Nutrition Services department, and hot chocolate and coffee stations.
Representatives from CalFire and the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Department, including the police dog, Hyde, came out to share in the fun. It was a great community event for all of Jurupa Valley.
