Research shows that it is essential for students to attend school regularly in order to be successful. September is Attendance Awareness Month and a great time to reinforce the importance of attending school every day.  Missing as few as two days a month can have a detrimental effect on a student’s success. Remember all school is important and even in TK/Kindergarten, students are engaged in critical learning every day.

We know that there may be many reasons why students miss school, but their daily attendance is so important. Please know that we are here to help if you are having challenges with making sure your child attends every day. If you need support, please reach out to your school.

We also want school to be a fun experience for students. Our schools have some unique incentives planned to encourage good attendance. Be on the lookout for more information from your child’s school.

September is Attendance Awareness Month
