Citizens' Oversight Committee

​​​On March 16, 2015, the Jurupa Board of Education appointed a Citizens Oversight Committee ("COC") to oversee the expenditures of the 2014 Election General Obligation Bonds (Measure EE).  The Ju​rupa  COC shall consist of 7 members appointed by the board: 1 PTA representative, 1 parent of a JUSD student, 1 senior citizens association representative, 1 taxpayer association representative, 1 local business representative, and 2 at-large members.

The COC meets quarterly to review the District's efforts to maximize the use of Bond proceeds.  Once per year, the Committee receives and reviews copies of the District's JUSD Bond Audit Report.  Also annually, the COC presents a report to the Board of Education reporting on the COC activities and proper expenditure of bond proceeds.
