On October 11, 2024, Trustee Robert Garcia resigned from the Board of Education. The Jurupa Unified School District Board of Education provisionally appointed Ms. Pamela Blynn to Trustee Area 1 at the Regular Board Meeting on November 4, 2024.
Unless a petition calling for a special election pursuant to Education Code 5091 is filed in the office of the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of the appointment date, the appointment will remain effective.
Ms. Blynn shall hold office until the next regularly scheduled election for district Board Members and shall be afforded all the powers and duties of a Board Member upon her appointment.
