At the March 17 Special Board Meeting, trustees voted to provisionally appoint Francisco Cueto to represent Trustee Area 3. Mr. Cueto was sworn in during the meeting and immediately assumed his new role.
Mr. Cueto fills the vacant seat previously held by Karen Bradford, who resigned from the Board last month. This seat will be up for election in November 2026.
We look forward to working with Mr. Cueto and the entire JUSD Board of Education as we finish out the 2025-26 school year and prepare for the future. As always, our students’ academic success and well-being will remain our top priorities.
