​ESSE​R III
COVID-19 federal funding for LEAs from American Rescue Plan Act (ARP Act) Elementary and Secondary School Relief (ESSER III) Fund. This funding will provide local educational agencies (LEAs) with emergency relief funds to address the impact COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools across the nation.

Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant
Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) grant funding will be used to provide supplemental instruction and support to students, including those identified as needing academic, social-emotional, and other supports, such as meals and snacks. ​Districts and schools can utilize innovative approaches that expand learning opportunities before, during, and after school, during the summer, and/or by extending the school day and year.

​​Educator Effectiveness Block Grant
One-time funding provided to county offices of education, school districts, charter schools, and state special schools to provide professional learning for teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and classified staff in order to promote educator equity, quality, and effectiveness.

​​A-G Mitigation Grant & A-G Access Grant Plan
A-G Completion Improvement Grant Program provides additional supports to local educational agencies (LEAs) to help increase the number of California high school pupils, particularly unduplicated pupils, who graduate from high school with A-G eligibility requirements completed for admission to the California State University and the University of California.
