Aging Schools
Many of our schools are in dire need of modernization. Over a dozen sites require upgrades, with eleven having never been modernized since they were built. Ten of these eleven sites date back to the late 1980s and early 1990s. To continue providing a quality education for generations to come, these schools need critical repairs and modernization.
Measure V: A Victory for Our Students
We are incredibly grateful to our community for supporting Measure V on the November 2024 ballot, which passed with a 66.38% approval rate! This vital funding will allow us to address the urgent repairs and upgrades our schools require. Thank you for investing in our children's future!
A Vision for the Future: The Facilities Master Plan
In 2020, JUSD developed a comprehensive Facilities Master Plan, a roadmap for modernizing all remaining school sites. Created in collaboration with students, staff, and the community, this plan ensures we are future ready. Now, with the passage of Measure V, we can continue implementing these critical improvements.
