Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP)
The FFVP is a non-competitive grant awarded based on a school's participation in the National School Lunch Program. A school must have approximately 86.5% or higher of its enrollment count qualifying.
Our JUSD History:
2016-17: Approximately $100,000 secured for Ina Arbuckle Elementary, West Riverside Elementary, and Mission Bell Elementary.
2017-18: Approximately $150,000 secured for Ina Arbuckle Elementary, West Riverside Elementary, Mission Bell Elementary, Rustic Lane Elementary, and Granite Hill Elementary.
2018-19: Approximately $115,000 secured for Ina Arbuckle Elementary, West Riverside Elementary, Mission Bell Elementary, and Rustic Lane Elementary.
2019-20: Approximately $115,000 secured for Ina Arbuckle Elementary, West Riverside, Mission Bell Elementary and Rustic Lane Elementary.
2020-21: Approximately $115,000 secured for Ina Arbuckle Elementary, West Riverside, Mission Bell Elementary and Rustic Lane Elementary.
*PICO has continued to provide the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable program to qualifying sites through this pandemic.
