Occasionally, JUSD has property it no
longer needs. This property will be
auctioned via the GovDeals platform. Anyone interested in bidding on the District's
surplus property should visit the GovDeals website. Please do not contact the District directly to
inquire about surplus property.
Staff Questions
Question: May I purchase my old laptop/printer/other item from the District?
Answer: For most computers, the hard drive is pulled out so it is no
longer functional. This is done to ensure that the data is
protected. We then are required to auction off all of our surplus
property. To streamline things, we typically auction off everything by
the pallet, instead of the individual unit, and larger refurbishing companies
buy them up and resell them. Unfortunately, it isn’t very practical for
an individual to bid on a single laptop or other devices.
