Dear Stone Avenue Families, Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year. I am thrilled and honored to be the new principal at Stone Avenue Elementary. I am excited about the upcoming year and all that it has to offer. We are venturing into our first year as an AVID school; students in grades 2nd-6th will be assigned a Chromebook; and we will continue to grow academically and as digital citizens to ensure our students are prepared for college and career in the 21st Century. Our goal is to provide a quality education and help each child meet their highest potential. Mission Statement

The mission of Stone Avenue School is to foster the successful educational and social development of our students.  We do this by holding high expectations, inspiring a love of life-long learning, and instilling a commitment to excellence in our students.Stone Avenue opened in September in 1993 with an enrollment of 467 students and has grown to a current enrollment of 807  students in grades TK-6. Our Stone Avenue family is comprised of:  31 classroom teachers, 2 full time intervention teachers, 1 Resource Specialist, along with 23 support staff members.  Approximately 67.55 % of our students are on free or reduced lunch.
