KEVIN CORRIDAN
 PRINCIPAL

I graduated from Cal State University San Bernardino in 1999 and received my Master of Science degree in Special Education from National University in 2003.  I began my teaching career in Riverside Unified School District at Poly High School in 1999 where I served as a Special Education Teacher and Assistant Football Coach.  In 2003, I joined the Faculty at Riverside City College as an Adjunct Faculty member while I continued to teach at Riverside Poly High School.  In 2005, I was given my first opportunity as a Head Football Coach and Special Education Teacher in Jurupa Unified School District at Rubidoux High School.  In 2007, I continued in JUSD and had the opportunity to help open Patriot High School.  In 2011, I was given an opportunity to return to Riverside Unified School District at Martin Luther King High School to serve as a Special Education Teacher and Head Football Coach.  I continued in this role until 2017 when I officially retired from coaching and began my pursuit of a career in administration.  I have had the opportunity to serve in many different roles in administration working with Attendance, Discipline, Special Education, Advanced Placement testing, and Curriculum.  In the Spring of 2021, I was given an opportunity to return to Rubidoux High School as the Assistant Principal of Student Services.

I have been blessed with a tremendous family and extended family who have been a part of this community since the school opened in 1960 including many of whom have graduated from RHS in the '60s, '70s, ’80s, '90s, and early 2000s. The journey I have been on in my professional career could not have been possible without the support of my wife Mandy and sons Jacob Flores and Kael. Mandy and Jacob are currently working in education, Mandy works for the Riverside County Office of Education and Jacob is working as an Instructional Aide in Jurupa Unified School District where he is coaching football in hopes of one day becoming a Special Education Teacher.  Kael is a Junior in high school and plays baseball and is involved with ASB.

Fun fact for our family; Jacob served as a ball boy for me at Rubidoux and Patriot and Kael was born 2 days before I was offered my first teaching and coaching position in Jurupa Unified School District.
