Physical Education
- You will do P.E. every day.
- You will be assigned a locker for your belongings.
- You will change into a P.E. uniform.
- Leave an extra pair of old tennis shoes in your locker.
- Leave deodorant in your locker.
Schedule Change Request
Reasons that may qualify for a schedule change
- I have a compelling educational reason with a parent note.
- I have an empty spot in my schedule.
- I took this already.
- I have the same class twice.
- I am missing a core academic class.
- I am not in the right level placement, such as Honors.
- My schedule says “See Counselor.”
- I did not take the prerequisite.
Reasons that usually do not qualify
- I want to take this at a different hour.
- I do not know anyone in that class.
- I do not want to take P.E. in the morning or afternoon.
- I do not like the teacher.
- I want to change my advisory.
- There is someone in my class I do not like.
- I want to be in the same class as my friend or significant other.
- I just do not like this class.

Grading Basics
- Grades: A, B, C, D, F.
- D means at risk of failing a class.
- F means failing a class.
- There are two semesters.
- Final grades are recorded on your transcript.
- Grades are important for class placement, extracurricular activities, and school activities.
What is a G.P.A.?
G.P.A. Basics
- GPA stands for Grade Point Average.
- A = 4 points.
- B = 3 points.
- C = 2 points.
- D = 1 point.
- F = 0 points.
- Add the point values for all classes, then divide by the number of classes.
