It is time to start thinking about the Lions Student Speaker Contest. Jurupa District Lions are looking for the best student speakers in our area to award scholarship money to.
The topic this year is: Social Media: Connects Us or Isolates Us? Prepare a 5 - 10 minute speech for the contest. School Level competition will be February 8, 2023 in Room H-3 at Lunch. Plan ahead and practice. |

Hello Jags, do you have any books you don't read anymore? if so come donate them at the library in the morning, during lunch, or after school. There will be a box in the library for you to place your donations in. All books will be donated to Van Buren Elementary School.

Avid students are holding a donation drive for animals in need. Join us on the 15th, 16th, and 17th before school in the quad. Anything is accepted, for example, blankets, toys, dog and cat food or treats and anything useful for an animal shelter. Any donation is appreciated.

This spring, Theatre will be producing "The Little Mermaid Jr". If you'd like to sing, dance, and act under the sea, please stop by the theater anytime after school to pick up an audition packet. Anyone is welcome to audition! Even if you don't consider yourself to be a "good" singer or dancer, come join us: we'll teach you!

Attention Seniors: Grad Nite at Disneyland has been confirmed for Friday, May 12th, 2023! Class of 2023 Grad Nite Information/Permission Slip & Behavior Contract packets are NOW available for students who are on the Priority List stop by the activities Office, the bookkeeper, or D-25 to get yours. Seniors who have completed their Financial Aid applications are the ONLY students who are on the Priority List, and not only get first shot at buying a ticket, but also receive a discount. You must also be OFF the No-Go list to purchase & attend. All information regarding Grad Nite is also located in Canvas on the Senior Spot page in Jags Matter. Remember, there is a limited number of tickets and once they're gone that's it. Tickets must be paid in full BEFORE the end of February. |
