NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ADOPT CERTAIN FINDINGS RELATED TO ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT FOR ENERGY RELATED IMPROVEMENTS TO DISTRICT FACILITIES WITH OPTERRA ENERGY SERVICES

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Jurupa Unified School District ("District") will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as is practical on June 13, 2016 to allow for public comment prior to consideration of adoption of a resolution making certain findings, and ratifying the Energy Services Contract with OpTerra Energy Services for the implementation of certain energy related improvements by OpTerra at District facilities in accordance with California Government Code Sections 4217.10 through 4217.18.  The District Board will adopt findings that provide that the cost to District to implement the energy related improvements, and the energy service contract, will be less than the anticipated marginal cost to the District of thermal, electrical, or other energy that would have been consumed by the District in the absence of purchasing the energy improvements.
