JUSD's Literacy Without Limits campaign is recognized as a winner of the National School Public Relations Association's Golden Achievement Award. This campaign raises awareness about the importance of literacy for academic success. By increasing family and community awareness and participation in literacy-focused programs - particularly in the primary grade - we hope to significantly impact literacy.

Library Book Tastings
Book tastings took place across the district in the 2023-2024 school year as part of the district’s Literacy Without Limits campaign. Each school participated and put their own spin on the idea.
Mystery Readers at Elementaries
District and community leaders encourage students to read and try new book genres by serving as Mystery Readers throughout JUSD libraries. Mystery Readers surprise classes during their library time to read an exciting book with them and then donate the new book to their school library.
