Hola! Buen dia!
Somos la familia Loera su servidor Juan Loera, mi esposa Laura mis hijos Estefani, Gabriel y David. Es nuestra primera vez en este programa y estamos muy agradecidos por la oportunidad gracias a todos los que hacen posible este taller. Al Directora, al distrito, a los padres que hicieron lo posible por estar presentes, a nuestra facilitadora Mariela Brenes por todo su apoyo su paciencia y por mantenernos motivados en todas las clases GRACIAS!
Decidimos participar en este taller (PIQE) principalmente por que deseamos que nuestro hijo vaya a la Universidad nosotros como muchos padres queremos ayudar a nuestros hijos a lograr sus metas y sus sueiios, comprometiendonos para que ellos si tengan las oportunidades que muchos de nosotros no tuvimos por circunstancias dificiles.
Haber participado en este taller nos cambi6 la mentalidad. Tuvimos muy buena informacion aprendimos mucho nos sentimos motivados a seguir en este camino sabemos que no es facil, pero tambien sabemos que es posible! PIQE es un programa que todos los padres deberiamos participar tiene mucha informaci6n clara y muy precisa de mucha ayuda.
Gabriel sabes de antemano que todo lo que nosotros hacemos es para que no te sientas solo en este camino hacia tus logros academicos, sabes que siempre vamos a estar aquf para lo que necesites , te amamos y estamos muy orgullosos de ti.

We are the Loera family, your servant Juan Loera, my wife Laura, my children Estefani, Gabriel and David. It is our first time in this program and we are very grateful for the opportunity thanks to everyone who makes this workshop possible. To the Directors, to the district, to the parents who did their best to be present, to our facilitator Mariela Brenes for all her support, her patience and for keeping us motivated in all classes THANK YOU!
We decided to participate in this workshop (PIQE) mainly because we want our son to go to the University. Like many parents, we want to help our children achieve their goals and dreams, committing ourselves so that they have the opportunities that many of us didn't have due to difficult circumstances.
Having participated in this workshop changed our mentality. We had very good information, we learned a rot, we feel motivated to continue on this path, we know that it is not easy, but we also know that it is possible! (PIQE) is a program that all parents should participate in. It has a lot of clear and very precise information that is very helpful.
Gabriel, you know in advance that everything we do is so that you don't feel alone on this path to your academic achievements, you know that we will always be here for whatever you need, we love you and we are very proud of you.
SPEECH Diana Morando:
Hello, my name is Diana Morando. Today I am so excited, since I have come to understand why I have always been told that he who perseveres achieves, and I have achieved one of my goals, which is how to be able to help and understand my children, which the PIQE program was great emotional support. But above all, of great informative interest for the education and success of my children, the PIQE program is very helpful.
My classmates and I want to thank Ms. Carol Pacheco for being a great guide in these workshops.
Also director of the campus, Dr. Shelley Morris, for offering us these programs that provide us with teaching resources. We invite you parents to take the time to visit their educational facilities and find out how to participate in these great programs, which serve us for the development and well-being of our children.

Hola mi nombre es Diana Morando.
El dia de hoy estoy tan emocionada, puesto que e llegado a entender el porque siempre me han dicho que el que persevera alcanza, ye alcanzado una de mis metas, es como padre ayudar y entender a mis hijos lo cual el programa de PIQE de gran apoyo emocional.
Pero, sobre todo, de mucho interes informative para la educaci6n y el excito de mis hijos, el programa de PIQE es realmente de mucha ayuda.
Mis compaiieros de clase y yo le damos la gracias a la senorita Carol Pacheco por ser una gran guia en estos talleres.
Tambien director de este plantel Dr. Shelley Morris por ofrecernos estos programas que nos brinda recursos de enseiianzas.
Los invitamos a usted padres de familia, a que se den el tiempo de visitar sus planteles educativos y que se informen de como poder participar en estos grades programas, que nos sirven para el desarrollo y el bienestar de nuestros hijos.

SPEECH Juan Lopez:
Good evening my name is Juan Lopez. My wife and I have 3 children. We have a 16 year old, 11 year old, and a 4 year old. This is my first time taken a PIQE program. I want to give many thanks to the people that put time and effort to put this program together for us parents. Thank you to the principal, district, facilitator, and any funders. I decided to participate because we have a 16-year-old that soon is about to graduate in 2024 and we wanted to get information on how to guide her and choose a path to the right college.I started reaching out to a college that she has been looking into. I took action after my 2nd week of PIQE. I wanted to make sure that she is choosing the right college for her career.The program opened our eyes to new information that we previously didn’t have any knowledge. For example, the funding for school works, the type of colleges that are available, and financial aid and scholarships.The biggest personal challenge that we went through was my legal status. I was not able to apply for financial aid. I had to pay out of my pocket. I had to work full time and part time college. I was determined to finish college to be the first one in our family generation and hoping this can take a domino effect. I believe getting an education in college can open new doors and new opportunities to find a better job. Getting to meet people that are in the same program or career is important because those are the people that you are going to see later in the same field. My advice to the parents is to always be there for your children, support them, guide them, and help them make the right decisions. You guys are already doing this by taking the PIQE courses. You guys are already part of their path to college. We took the time to be part of this program.To my children I just want to tell them that mommy and I will always be there to support you guys 100%. We are going to challenge you because we know you can achieve greater things in life. We love you guys!
Buenas tardes mi nombre es Juan Lopez Mi esposa y yo tenemos 3 hijos. Edades 16,11 y 4 años. Esta es mi primera vez en este programa. Quiero agradecer a mucho alas personas que toman su tiempo y esfuerzo para poner en orden este programa para nosotros los padres. Gracias ala principal, al Distrito y financiadores.Decidí participar porque tengo un estudiante de la edad de 16 anos que pronto se va a graduar en el ano 2024 y queremos información en como guiarla y que escoja el camino a un colegio correcto. Comencé a acercarme al colegio que a ella le llamo la atención, Tome acción en mi segunda semana en PIQE. Quería asegurarme que ella esta escogiendo el colegio correcto para ella. El programa abrió nuestros ojos a nueva información que no sabíamos que existía. Por ejemplo, a la financiación de las obras escolares, los tipos de colegio que ay disponibles, ayuda financiera y becas. El mayor reto personal que nosotros pasamos fue mi estatus legal. Yo no pude aplicar para ayuda financiera. Yo tuve que pagar de mi bolsillo tuve que trabajar tiempo completo y estudiar medio tiempo en el colegio. Estaba decido terminar la universidad y ser el primero en nuestra familia en la generación y esperaba que esto pudiera tomar un efecto de dominio. Creo que obtener una educación universitaria puede abrir nuevas puertas y oportunidades para encontrar un mejor trabajo. Conocer personas que están en el mismo programa o carrera es importante porque esas son las personas que vas a ver mas adelante en el mismo campo. Mi consejo para los padres es que apoyen a sus hijos guíalos y ayúdalos a tomar decisiones correctas. Ustedes ya están haciendo en tomar estos cursos en PIQE, Nosotros tomamos nuestro tiempo para ser parte de este programa. A mis Hijos solo quiero decirles que mama y yo siempre estaremos allí para apoyarlos al 100%. Vamos a desafiarlos porque sabemos que pueden lograr cosas mas grandes en la vida. Los Amamos.

SPEECH Ivone Cisneros:
Good afternoon my name is Ivone Cisneros,
I am a mother of 5 children… 3 girls and 2 boys,this was my first time taking the piqe class. I want to thank the
director,the district and the teachers, for offering us these type of workshops that are very important to know
about: How to help our youth get ahead in life and for a better academic future. Thank you for calling and
reminding us of each program there is to help our youth. a question that my daughters asked me, why did I
decide to participate? Since i have never been involved in school with any of my older children, I know that as
a mother I am not perfect and sometimes I make mistakes but there is always an opportunity to be able to
learn and help them, for me PIQE’s classes were and are very useful the impact it’s made for me and my
family is that now I am more involved checking their homework and their classes, now I am more aware of
them on those subjects. Before I had the idea that even though they have good grades and if one does not
qualify for financial aid we have to figure it out on our own, but now I know that there are many doors to knock
on and opportunities to help ourselves as well as our students. PIQE for me is the best decision I could’ve
made because it opened my mind and I know there are many options, thanks again for having this PIQE class.
My advice for parents is that it’s never too late and now there are many options and we should always seek
help. This is for my daughters…. my (edos) as I call them because they are twins. I want them to know that I
love them and I know, they know the effort I make when I come to the PIQE classes because I'm not so
sociable. I get nervous being around people I don't know and small places. Every Wednesday they would ask
me, “so have you made friends?” and I would answer “ no, just be thankful that I haven’t cried during the PIQE
classes, although I will confess I did cry after one of the PIQE classes, but my effort is because of the love I
have for my kids and I will always want what is best for them and I want them to know mommy will always be
there for you. Thank you all very much for attending.
Buenas tardes mi nombre es Ivone Cisneros, soy madre de 5 hijos… 3 niñas y 2 niños, esta fue la primera vez que tomé la clase de piqe. Quiero agradecer a la directora, al distrito ya los maestros, por brindarnos este tipo de talleres que es muy importante saber sobre: Cómo ayudar a nuestros jóvenes a salir adelante en la vida y para un mejor futuro académico. Gracias por llamarnos y recordarnos cada programa que hay para ayudar a nuestra juventud. una pregunta que me hicieron mis hijas, ¿por qué decidí participar? Como nunca he estado involucrada en la escuela con ninguno de mis hijos mayores, se que como madre no soy perfecta y a veces me equivoco pero siempre hay una oportunidad de poder aprender y ayudarlos, para mi las clases de PIQE fueron y son muy útiles el impacto que ha tenido para mí y mi familia es que ahora estoy más involucrado revisando sus tareas y sus clases, ahora estoy más pendiente de ellos en esos temas. Antes tenía la idea de que a pesar de que tienen buenas notas y si uno no califica para la ayuda económica, tenemos que resolverlo por nuestra cuenta, pero ahora sé que hay muchas puertas a las que tocar y oportunidades para ayudarnos a nosotros mismos. como nuestros alumnos. PIQE para mí es la mejor decisión que pude haber tomado porque me abrió la mente y sé que hay muchas opciones, gracias nuevamente por tener esta clase de PIQE. Mi consejo para los padres es que nunca es tarde y ahora hay muchas opciones y siempre debemos buscar ayuda. Esto es para mis hijas... mis (edos) como les llamo porque son mellizos. Quiero que sepan que los quiero y lo sé, saben el esfuerzo que hago cuando vengo a las clases de PIQE porque no soy tan sociable. Me pone nervioso estar rodeado de personas que no conozco y lugares pequeños. Todos los miércoles me preguntaban, “¿entonces has hecho amigos?” y yo les respondía “no, solo agradecer que no he llorado durante las clases de PIQE, aunque les confieso que sí lloré después de una de las clases de PIQE, pero mi esfuerzo es por el amor que les tengo a mis hijos y yo siempre querrán lo mejor para ellos y quiero que sepan que mami siempre estará ahí para ti.
