Dear Parents or Guardians,

We are excited to announce that we will continue offering the Expanded Learning Opportunity (ELO) program both before- and after-school this school year.  During these sessions, students will receive opportunities to:

• Extend instructional learning time 

• Receive tutoring support

• Accelerate progress through social and emotional learning supports

For students attending after school ELO, each student has a pre-packed supper and snack each day available at no cost in the quad.  All students must be picked up from the school campus by someone who has been identified by school records as an authorized person to sign-out/pick up students.  If your student walks to and from school, he/she will be released after ELO under the same terms as they would at the completion of the school day.  The school site will not be able to provide a way home for students. Details of the program are:

• Courses before school are offered from 7:15-8:15 am

• Courses after school are offered from 3:35-4:35

Estamos emocionados de anunciar que continuaremos ofreciendo el programa de Oportunidad de Aprendizaje Ampliado (ELO) este año escolar antes y después de la escuela. Durante estas sesiones, los estudiantes recibirán oportunidades para:

• Ampliar el tiempo de aprendizaje instructivo

• Recibir apoyo de tutoría

• Acelerar el progreso a través de apoyos de aprendizaje social y emocional

Para los estudiantes que asisten a ELO después de la escuela, cada estudiante puede recoger un almuerzo y una botana todos los días sin costo en el patio. Todos los estudiantes deben ser recogidos de la escuela por alguien que haya sido identificado por los registros escolares como una persona autorizada para firmar la salida/recoger a los estudiantes. Si su estudiante camina de ida y vuelta a la escuela, será liberado después de ELO en los mismos términos que lo harían al finalizar el día escolar. El sitio escolar no podrá proporcionar transporte a casa para los estudiantes.
