Dual Immersion is a program designed to develop bilingualism and biliteracy in English and Spanish for students who are English speakers  and students who are learning English. Dual Immersion students at Jurupa Middle School take two classes entirely taught in Spanish: Spanish language arts and Spanish social studies. The content and standards of the Spanish social studies is identical to the English social studies class. Dual Immersion students will also take English language arts taught in English.

JMS Dual Immersion students begin the program in kindergarten either at Sunnyslope Elementary or Stone Avenue Elementary and continue when they arrive at Jurupa Middle. After Jurupa Middle, students can continue in Dual Immersion at Patriot High School in order to continue strengthening their Spanish language skills.
