Indian Hills PTA Scholarship

​Indian Hills Elementary School PTA will offer a graduating high school senior who attended Indian Hills Elementary School for a minimum of three years a scholarship in the amount of $500.00. This Scholarship acknowledges the achievements of a high school senior for volunteer service in the school and community.

AVAILABILITY: The Scholarship funds are available to high school seniors graduating between January 1st and June 30th of the current academic year. This Scholarship is to be used during fall semester/quarter following high school graduation at an accredited college or university, community college, or trade or technical school. ​

APPLICATION AND DEADLINE:

Deadline to receive application form, essay and two- reference letters is June 5, 2020.

Application form and essay should be emailed by applicant to jane_reynolds@jusd.k12.ca.us.

Reference letters should be emailed by the person giving the reference to jane_reynolds@jusd.k12.ca.us. Please make sure the subject line says PTA Scholarship-Applicants Name. 

Applications will not be considered if any of the required materials are missing.​

QUALIFICATIONS:  This scholarship recognizes volunteer service in the school and community and does not have a grade point average restriction or requirement. Applicant must have attended Indian Hills Elementary School for a minimum of three years.

​SELECTION: Two recipients will be selected by representatives of the Indian Hills Elementary School PTA Scholarship Committee. The recipients will receive a $500.00 scholarship each. The scholarship recipients will be notified in June. Upon proof of acceptance and enrollment as a full-time student (12 units or more), a check for the scholarship amount will be presented to the recipients or the business center at the school site.
