Helping Australia Wildlife

As part of our Kindness plan for this school year, we would like to invite students to participate in making pouches, blankets, nests, or protectors for Australia's wildlife rescue effort.

We would like to collect all items by February 21, 2020, so that we can send them to Australia to use with the hundreds of animals that have been displaced.  This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about kindness and helping others.  If you would like to participate but do not have the time to make these items, you can still help by sending wool yarn and flannel fabric just in case a student wants to make something but can't afford materials.  We have patterns available in the office if you need a pattern. All students that participate will sign a banner that will be sent to awesome firefighters fighting this huge fire.

If would like more information or you would like to get a pattern, please contact Mrs. Cumiskey at jeri-lyn_cumiskey@jusd.k12.ca.us or Mrs. Jobe at vjobe@jusd.k12.ca.us or call our office at 951-360-2724. Thank you so much for your help.
