Granite Hill provides a caring community where learning happens each and every day! Students in Kindergarten through sixth grade benefit from a standards-based curriculum taught by our team of dedicated, highly qualified, teachers and enhanced by our wonderful support staff. At Granite Hill, we have a very diverse population of students and staff. We feel that every person helps to enrich your children's educational experience.
Granite Hill parents are an important part of our community. We are all working as a team of students, staff, and parents to provide quality education for every child. At Granite Hill, we have an open door policy and we welcome parents to visit classrooms. Every classroom also welcomes volunteers. Part of Granite Hill's success can be attributed to parent participation. We emphasize participation and encourage parents to attend school functions, join PTA, serve on school committees and volunteer in classrooms. The PTA demonstrates support for our school efforts by sponsoring several events enriching the instructional program. PTA also pays for most of the incentives for our deserving students. PTA pays for Scandia, AR contests, annual Awards' Breakfast, and medals and trophies. There are many ways to become involved! One of the best things you can do is to stay in close and frequent contact with your child’s teacher. We have provided the staff email addresses as an easy way to stay in contact. We look forward to continuing a strong partnership with you in the education of your children. We all are on "Team Granite Hill!"
