Construction-Phase 1 has continued over the summer. Glen Avon is under full construction now. We are opening school on Wednesday, August 7th and we will be ready for students. Please plan on attending Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 6th at 5:00. It is a great opportunity for you and your child to meet their new teacher and learn about classroom and school expectations for the year.
The Kindergarten classes will be in the back of the school in rooms 8-11.
The First grade classrooms will be in the back also in rooms 42-45.

We are currently working in the school library, but visitors do not have access to the campus.

Phase 1: More fencing is now up around our kindergarten playground for our Remodel project at Glen Avon.
Starting today, 5/9/19 our former office will be demolished.
Once
the office is demolished, construction will begin on building
the new office and Library/Media Center.
This
project will take about a year. When it is complete, the classrooms
will be remodeled beginning with the Kindergarten classrooms.
Teachers are busy packing their rooms to move to portables for the remodel.
The
students’ and staff safety will always be a priority during the project.

The school will be closed after May 31st. We should return on July 11th.
