Dear DSA community,
I am proud to announce that a mascot has been determined for our school. From now on, we’ll be known as the Del Sol Explorers!
Ernest Shackleton, an early arctic explorer, believed that optimism, patience, idealism and courage were required traits for an explorer to succeed. The term “explorer” is very fitting for a STEAM school and embodies all the qualities we hope our students will aspire to. It also aligns with our district’s motto, “Learning without Limits!” We at DSA are committed to teaching our students to explore new learning, understand the world around them, and seek to make it a better place!
Our next steps include working on a design for our mascot so stay tuned!
