Principal's Message

Hello Rustic Lane families!

I want to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you and share a little bit of information for the upcoming school year.

My name is Allison Hesler and I am proud to be joining the Leopard family as the principal. I come from Mission Middle School where I was the assistant principal for 5 years and I was an elementary teacher prior to that. I am very familiar with the Jurupa Valley community as I was a student here in JUSD and still reside here. My own two children attend school in JUSD. I believe that our students deserve the very best education and opportunities, and I am dedicated to ensuring that your students, our students, thrive.

Our staff and teachers are so excited to see students return to campus full time! Our first day of school is Friday, Aug 6th. We will host our Virtual Back to School Night on Thursday, August 5th.

Just like last year, the Annual Update of Information (AIU) will need to be completed online through ParentConnect. It is required that all parents complete this update for each student attending a JUSD school. It is VERY important that you update all contact information as this is our primary form of communication with families. If you need assistance logging in to ParentConnect or need to request your PIN, please feel free to call the office between 8:30 and 3:00, 951-222-7837.

I am very excited to share that the AVID supplies (binders/folders, paper, colored pencils/crayons/dividers etc.) are going to be provided to all students this year. Individual teachers will share their specific requests/needs at Back-to-School Night.

I know that this past year has been difficult in so many ways, we are here to support your students as we transition back to campus full time. We are excited to help your student fall in love with learning and school again. Parents held such an important role this past school year and I look forward to continuing to work together to have a successful 2021-2022 school year.
