November and December Student of the Month Winners

November celebrates our most intentionally safe students. These Bell students represented being intentionally safe on our campus and we are shining a light on their achievements. Here are some examples from their teachers. Mr. Flores describes Yatziri Arenas Castelan as, “Always says walking quietly in line." Leia Andrade keeps our campus safe by “always having her mask on, keeps her things put away, keeps her hands to herself, and walks on the blacktop,” Mrs. Begnaud is very proud of her. Mrs. Lee says, “Mila Frias is a shining example of how to be intentionally safe at all times, even when there is no one watching!” Mrs. Rayfield’s student Vanesa Hernadez is “Always walking in the halls, carrying her Chromebook carefully and wearing her mask properly” along with Rigoberto Bautista in Mrs. Valadez’s class who “is always following the rules to be safe in the classroom, hallways, and playground.” Mrs. Kramer states Jonathan Gallardo, “always brings and wears a mask indoors and follows safety precautions in class.” “Ellie Childs-Praster looks out for others and makes sure to keep others around her safe.” -Ms. Brokar. Mrs. Koslik tells us that, “Abby Ochoa makes sure she is following classroom and school rules and always making sure that she and her classmates are always safe!” Luis Aguilar in Ms. Frei’s class is “always setting the safe example for all.” Ms. Diaz describes Janelle Sebastian as “always thinking about the week being of her classmates. She is always putting safety first and displaying consideration.” Mrs. Goedhart and Mr. Ortiz have nominated Katie Santos and Janell Gutierrez. “Katie and Janell are both excellent examples of students who are intentionally safe at all times. They take care of their belongings, wait patiently for their turn, and walk safely around our school campus.” Last but not least, we have Andrea Diaz who is “a great example of how to be intentionally safe in all areas. She always has her mask above her nose. She walks in the hallways and makes sure her area is clean, so students using walkers do not trip. I am very impressed with her!” -Mrs. Veazie.

December celebrates our most responsible and determined students. These Bell students are the most responsible and determined on our campus and we are recognizing their achievements. Here are some examples from their teachers. Mr. Flores describes Liam Razo as, “Always asks questions and shows he wants to learn in lots of other ways, too!" Araceli Martinez in Mrs. Begnaud’s class is, “always eager to learn, participate, and help others.” Ms. Brokar says Ximena Contreras-Ramirez, “is ready to start working and is determined to finish any assignment or task given to her. She makes sure to complete her homework on time. She listens to teachers and aides in the classroom.” Mrs. Rayfield’s student Heriberto Ortiz is responsible for always bringing his Chromebook and giving his work 100% effort along with Sofia Stout in Mrs. Kramer’s class who also gives her best effort and completes her assignments. Mrs. Koslik tells us that, “Gael Salgado-Perez is one determined student. He makes sure that all assignments are done and still has time to help others. He is a great example to students.” Jairo Ortega Madrigal in Ms. Frei’s class takes uses our #impactteams model for his success. “Jairo makes an extra effort to ensure his work meets the success criteria.” Ms. Diaz describes Melissa Ramos Gonzalez as “having an amazing completion rate of classwork/homework. She is always on top of what needs to be completed in group work.” Mrs. Goedhart and Mr. Ortiz have nominated Julian Guitron and Valerie Sanchez. “These students always do their homework, strive to do their best at all times, and go above and beyond what is required of them.” Last but not least, we have Andrew Corletto who “is a great role model for all students. He is able to navigate going between 3 classes and does so with no confusion.” -Mrs. Veazie.
