Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year- a year unlike any other year! As we face the challenges of COVID-19, we want our mountain lion family to be assured that we are here for them and with them during this time. As we journey through distance learning, we want every MLMS student to know that we are connected even when we are physically apart.
This year’s Advisory classes take place on Monday and Friday to provide students an opportunity to:
Connect with their teacher,
Learn about the Habits of the Mind: Persistence, Managing Impulsivity, Listening with understanding and empathy, Thinking flexibly, etc.
Learn Habits of the heart: Compassion, Love, Forgiveness, Trust, Generosity, Openness, Patience, Gratitude, etc.
Communicate regarding school events
Reflect on goal-setting
