We are so excited to have Ms. Nunez on board here at Nueva. Ms. Nunez became a teacher because she wanted to help students like herself who struggled in Math as a teen. She hopes to help students reach their potential and master Math. She graduated from Azusa High School and attended 3 community colleges before transferring. They were citrus college, Moorpark College, and Oxnard college. She then transferred to UCR to get her B.S. in Math. She recently completed her M.A at the university of Redlands.
Ms. Nunez currently teaches Pre-Algebra and Business Math.
She is a proud mother to a soon to be 9-year old. Like some students at our school she is a single mom making it happen. She comes from a family with lots of teachers on one side and lots of diesel mechanics on the other. During her free time she enjoys hiking, sitting near bonfires, and playing with her pets.
