Message from the Principal
Dear Indian Hills Families,
It is truly a privilege to introduce myself as the new Principal of Indian Hills Elementary School. I am excited to join this wonderful community and partner with you to ensure a joyful, safe, and successful school year.
With nearly 20 years of experience in education with the Jurupa Unified School District as a teacher and administrator, my goal is to foster an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and excited to learn. A strong home-school partnership is the foundation of student success, and my door is always open to your feedback, ideas, and collaboration.
Important Dates and Notes
- Teacher Assignments: Available on Parent Connect beginning August 2nd
- Back to School Night: Wednesday, August 5th, 4:30 - 6:00
- First Day of School: Thursday, August 6th, 8:15 - 2:40 (Gates open at 7:50)
- School Meals: Free breakfast and lunch are available for all students.
- Annual Information Update (AIU): Please complete this on Parent Connect before the first day of school to ensure we have up-to-date and accurate information.
If you need any assistance with Parent Connect, the AIU, or anything else, our office will be happy to help!

Estimadas familias de Indian Hills,
Es un verdadero privilegio presentarme como la nueva directora de la escuela primaria Indian Hills. Me entusiasma unirme a esta maravillosa comunidad y colaborar con ustedes para garantizar un año escolar alegre, seguro y exitoso.
Con casi 20 años de experiencia en el ámbito educativo en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Jurupa como maestra y administradora, mi objetivo es fomentar un ambiente inclusivo donde cada estudiante se sienta valorado, motivado y entusiasmado por aprender. Una sólida colaboración entre la escuela y la familia es fundamental para el éxito estudiantil, y siempre estoy abierta a sus comentarios, ideas y sugerencias.
Fechas y notas importantes
- Asignación de maestros: Disponible en Parent Connect a partir del 2 de agosto.
- Noche de bienvenida al inicio del curso escolar: miércoles 5 de agosto, de 4:30 a 6:00.
- Primer día de clases: jueves 6 de agosto, de 8:15 a 2:40 (las puertas abren a las 7:50).
- Comidas escolares: Todos los estudiantes tienen acceso a desayuno y almuerzo gratuitos.
- Actualización Anual de Información (AIU): Por favor, complete este formulario en Parent Connect antes del primer día de clases para asegurarnos de tener información actualizada y precisa.
