Indian Hills celebrated Read Across America March 2nd. Cat in the Hat visited Kinder through second grade and read a Dr. Seuss book. He also made an appearance at their Book Swap. The students had a great time celebrating reading with the Cat in the Hat.

The celebrating continued on through the week with our TK/K students.
Tuesday-Students heard more stories by Dr. Seuss and did a directed drawing of the Cat in the Hat.
Wednesday-Students painted and cut out their very own Thing 1.
Thursday-Students made a Dr. Seuss book of rhymes.
Friday- Students did a "Write the Room" activity on the playground, read the book Green Eggs and Ham, tasted green eggs and ham, read Bartholomew and the Oobleck, and made their own oobleck to take home.
