Celebrating Graduates

This spring, Jurupa Unified proudly graduates over 1,320 students, the culmination of years of academic progress. This moment is a testament to the strength, determination and attention to craft shown by hundreds of students – along with their parents, families, teachers, staff and administrators – at every school.

The graduates have diverse backgrounds, goals and dreams, but Jurupa schools have helped equip each and every student to learn without limits for a lifetime.

Now, as the Class of 2019 moves on to college, careers and achievements yet unknown, the graduates earn praise for building academic, personal and extracurricular strengths that will serve them well in the journey ahead.

About the class: “Nueva Vista High School's graduating class of 2019 is spunky, sweet and unique. Coming from different backgrounds and schools, and different situations, each student brings their special 'something' to NVHS. Graduating Aztecs have worked intently on meeting their goals while maintaining their positive, happy-go-lucky attitudes. Our graduation ceremony can be described as intimate and special for graduates, staff, and guests in attendance — a definite night to remember." - Jessica Wheeler, ASB Advisor

About the class: “Patriot High School's graduating Class of 2019 is an inspiration. Our students are a group that has strived for excellence in their academics, athletics, and in serving their community. This is truly a special group of students, many of whom have been friends since elementary school. It is a group filled with leaders and innovators, athletes and readers, artists, performers, and musicians. They are students who are not afraid to challenge and question the world for the sake of learning. We are sending students off to Cal Tech, Vassar, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, Carnegie Mellon University, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC San Diego, and many more schools. We also have several students who have enlisted in the military and several more who will be enrolled at a trade school. Patriot High School wishes the graduating Class of 2019 the best in their future endeavors." - Danielle Ortiz, ASB Advisor
