CAHSEE

The CAHSEE requirement for graduation was suspended in October 2015. Please click here for more information.

In California, all high school students were required to pass a test to earn a high school diploma. The test was called the CAHSEE and was made up of two parts, English and Math. Some students with disabilities did not have to pass this test.  California created the test to improve student achievement in high schools. The test helped to ensure that students graduate from high school with grade level skills in reading, writing, and math
