Welcome to the Pedley Elementary Band information!

Band at Pedley Elementary is offered to all students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Band practices are held throughout the school day every Tuesday. 

Students have the opportunity to learn and play the alto saxophone, clarinet, flute and trumpet in their first years of band. Additional instru­ments are offered in their second or third year and include baritone horn, percussion, and trombone. Students do not need any prior musical ex­perience -anyone can join in 4th, 5th or 6th grade! Joining the band is a great way for students to learn responsibility, dedication, and determina­tion. It is also a lot of fun! 

Sign ups begin in August and classes begin in September and continue until the end of the school year. The band performs two concerts per year - one in winter and one in spring.
