Most businesses post jobs and applications online now. If there is a place you are intersted in working, it is best to still go to the store/restaurant, introduce yourself to the manager and inquire about a job.

Work Permits
In order to work under the age of 18 a student must have a work permit. This is required by law from the state of California.
  • The student must have a 2.0 GPA to obtain a work permit​​
  • Pick up a work permit in the Career Center
  • The student, employer and parent must fill it out and sign it first
  • Return the work permit to the Career Center for processing
  • Pick it up in the Career Center after it is completed
