Pharmacy Technician

Classes meet Monday – Thursday, 5:00pm – 8:00pm

(This program is a hybrid class. Classroom instruction will take place on campus and online.)

-High School Diploma/GED Required

-Mandatory Orientation

-Tuition: $275.00

(Tuition includes cost of program, books, lab coat, and student equipment deposit. $75 equipment deposit will be refunded after completion of program.)

-Program Length: 400 Hours

(Approximately 8 Months)

-Externship: 120 Hours


As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will:

  •     Assist in processing and dispensing prescriptions
  •     Implement knowledge in pharmacology, pharmacy calculations and pharmacy practice
  •     Assist in compounding customized medication and IV preparations
  •     Perform skills in aseptic technique
  •    Operate Pharmacy Management Software
  •     Fill and label prescriptions
  •     Implement knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
  •     Maintain patient profiles
  •     Perform administrative duties and provide customer service
