Benefits of Paternal Involvement
Did you know that educators have found a positive academic trend among students whose dads are involved in their education? Children with involved dads (father figures) do better academically, participate more in extracurricular activities, tend to be emotionally healthier, have fewer problems with behaviors, and enjoy school more.
Goals:
1. Increase interactive quality time (father figure and child).
2. Highlight the importance of dinner and conversation.
3. Increase reading time with child.
4. Understand the importance of nutrition through Harvest of the Month.
